If you're interested in joining us for a workshop but are curious about a few things, we're happy to answer some frequently asked questions!

First and foremost, supplies are ALWAYS included in workshop ticket cost. Unless there is a specific element needed for a workshop, like a personal item to customize, everything is always provided for you to show up as you are. You'll know if you need to bring materials when you purchase a ticket, it will be in the description of the group event.
Some frequently asked questions are:
Do I have to buy a ticket online?
Simply, yes! While we always welcome walk-ins if the workshop is not sold out, to guarantee your set a ticket would be your best option! We are a small studio with a big personality, but all our workshops are limited to table space or other seating space for each event we hold. That just means it's a small batch style for each workshop.
If I can't make it to one of your workshops, will you offer it again?
Most likely, yes! We try to keep things new and interesting but our best selling workshops will always have a return on the schedule.
When you say adults only, what does that mean?
That means 18+! We've had some interest in teens joining our groups, which we welcome on a case by case basis! Some workshops are designed to be for adults only, meaning they are BYOB or may have a more complicated instruction. We love all our creative teens and encourage art making for them, reach out and ask if you're interested in joining one of our workshops to make sure it's appropriate!
How do I join a workshop?
Head to our workshop tab on our website and check out the offerings, from there you'll get your ticket by purchasing it directly from the event you're interested in.
I have a group of friends that would fill up your space for a workshop I'm interested in, can we all come?
Yes! Everyone can buy a ticket or if you are looking for a private party that host an event in our space with our instructors, read this blog to know more!
I haven't made art in years and don't consider myself an artist, but I'm interested in joining, is this a beginners friendly space?
Absolutely! We welcome all levels into the space and are firm believers that we're all creative waiting for a spark. All of our instructors are passionate about being creative and will help guide you through any self-doubt or trouble spots to encourage your inner artist.
I'm in a wheelchair, is the studio ADA accessible?
Yes! Our front door has a small step, but our side door has a gradual incline so all bodies can join us. If you let us know before hand, we'll make sure the side entrance is available for you!
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes! We always recommend bringing a snack or drink to a workshop, espeically when they're around meal times. The street has a ton of good food and drink places to stop at before or after a workshop, but you are more than welcome to bring along something for home to sip or snack on while getting creative.
Is your studio accessible for folks in larger bodies?
Yes! We have a large assortment of chairs in the space and invite all bodies to join us to get creative.
What are your hours? Can I just walk in?
We don't have "open" hours right now other than when we are in the studio for workshops! While not every group is facilitated by the owners, Mel and Tori, most groups have Mel and Tori present at them! If you're looking to shop our retail or want to see the space, the best time to catch it is right before or after a workshop. You can always email us at healingthymestudio@gmail.com to inquire on when we're in the space that week to check us out!
